Hi! My name is Emily Johnson—wife, mother, realtor and renovation enthusiast.

Hello all you eager home buyers, sellers, renovators and dreamers. My name is Emily Johnson, and I’m a realtor in Springfield, Missouri. I never dreamed of becoming a realtor, but I did dream of renovating and flipping historic and forgotten homes. That’s pretty much how I ended up here.

My husband and I have renovated our fair share of homes, and we’ve gotten pretty good at it. As our confidence grew, I ended up leaving my job as a creative director at a local ad agency and decided to use my skills as a realtor.

I now help families around 417-land find their new home or sell their current home and navigate the seemingly endless complications that come with buying and/or selling a house. That’s also what this blog is for! This is where I’ll share tips, FAQ and answers, recent remodel projects I’m working on and whatever else I think can help all of you as you search for your next dream home.
